System of Equations Solver

CalcES calculator allow you to find roots of system equations with 2, 3 and 4 unknown variables.

Example 1:

5x + 3y =  7
3x - 5y = -25 

Example 2: system of equations of 3 variables: x, y, z

 x +  y +  z = 25
5x + 3y + 2z = 0
      y -  z = 6

Example 4: system of equations of 4 variables: x, y, z, t

 2a + 2b - c  +   d = 4
 4a + 3b - c  + 2d  = 6 
 8a + 5b - 3c + 4d  = 12
 3a + 3b - 2c + 2d  = 6

Steps to solve system of equations

Example: solve system of equations

5x + 3y =  7
3x - 5y = -25 

• Press the MODE button to open the mode dialog

• Scroll down and then select the ax + by = c item

• Enter the coefficients of the system of equations:

5       3       7
3      -5      -25

• Press = (or the SOLVE button on the top-right of display) to solve system of equations

• The calculator show x = -20/17

• Press = to show y value = 73/17

• Press = again to back to the coefficient editor

Example: system of equations of 3 variables: x, y, z

 x +  y +  z = 25
5x + 3y + 2z = 0
      y -  z = 6
